We offer a safe and secure home away from home, where your dog becomes part of the family.
There are sofas and dog beds galore for them to snuggle on, a wood burner for the chilly nights and paddling pool in the secure garden for the hotter days.
They will be walked and exercised to meet their particular needs, interacted with for mental stimulation and basic training is offered if required.
We have fantastic walks locally across fields and some great tracks where your dog can be walked safely on or off lead.
They get to play and have fun with other boarders and of course they will get lots of love & cuddles.

BOARDING
Adult (9 months & over) : £44 overnight (up to 24hrs)
Puppies (under 9 months): £50 overnight (up to 24hrs)
DAYCARE
Adult (9 months & over): £30 for the day (up to 12 hrs)
Puppies (under 9 months) : £30 for the day (up to 12hrs)
TRANSPORT
£10 for a pick up or drop off within a 10 mile radius of Kelham

A Little About Me
I think I’ve always had a love of dogs, well at least as far back as I can remember and I’d like to think it was mutual.
I volunteered at the RSPCA as a teenager, and would have brought home many dogs each weekend if it weren’t for my Mum being firm and saying no.
Nearly always having a dog of my own and if I had a spell without would steal /borrow friends’ dogs.
In 2018 I went through a tough time and was unable to work very much so helped all my friends who lived nearby by walking or looking after their dogs often testing the patience of my old faithful Labrador, but who I think secretly loved having other canine company but not always keen on sharing my lap.
That year made me realise what life should be about and my life I decided should be about spending time with dogs, so decided to start Barkers… Barkers referring to me being Barking mad about dogs and not the sound emanating from Daisy’s Cottage.

Bookings & Cancellations
We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% to be paid at the point of booking to reserve a boarding space (we cannot hold a boarding space without a deposit).
The remaining balance is to be paid 7 days prior to the first day of boarding. If a client cancels boarding after this time the full balance of the boarding will be charged.
A £15 supplement for each dog will be charged on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Changes to return date
Barkers carefully schedules time to serve you and other clients, therefore, there are no refunds or credits for early returns or last minute changes.
In the event that the client is delayed on return, they must inform Barkers immediately, and Barkers will use its best endeavours to continue with care or make alternative arrangements for continued cover.
